South Wilts Grammar School also has about 160 Year 7 places for girls. Families must register separately with the school. There is no set catchment area, but distance from the school is considered when places are offered.
For this reason, many Wilton families start preparing in Year 3 or Year 4. This gives children plenty of time to build strong skills in English, Maths, Verbal Reasoning, and Non-Verbal Reasoning before taking the 11 Plus.
